BLACK CUMIN SEED OIL
Black cumin seed oil is by no means new, but recently it has gained popularity as a remedy for everything from maintaining weight to easing aching joints. Black cumin seeds are sometimes referred to as black seed, black cumin, black caraway and kalonji.
They originate from Nigella sativa, a little plant with light blue, purple, or white flowers that is native to the Middle East, Western Asia, and Eastern Europe.
For thousands of years, people have embraced the tiny black seeds from Nigella sativa fruits as medicinal herbs. In a manner comparable to cumin or oregano, the seeds can flavour bread, pickles, and curries too.
A wide range of advantageous substances, such as cholesterol-lowering phytosterols and essential fatty acids, and things like omega-3, -6, and -9. Thymoquinone, an antioxidant and anti-inflammatory substance that may also have tumour-reduction capabilities, is a component of black seed oil.
Seasonal allergy symptoms may be managed with the aid of black cumin seed oil. Black seed oil users with allergic rhinitis, (aka hay fever), reported reductions in nasal itching, runny nose, and sneezing bouts during the first two weeks of treatment. These outcomes are probably brought on by the antihistamine properties of thymoquinone.
3.May reduce acne According to some studies, black seed oil may be helpful for treating skin issues like acne. This might be because black seed oil has antibacterial and anti-inflammatory effects. In one review paper, patients who used a moisturiser containing black seed oil on acne-prone skin noticed a significant reduction in lesions after two months. 4.Increases blood sugar control According to certain studies, black seed oil may help to keep blood sugar levels stable. In fact, a study of seven researchers revealed that black seed may help boost insulin levels, blood sugar levels while fasting and after meals, and other indicators of blood sugar control. Similar results were found in another assessment of 23 trials, which noted that black seed was beneficial at lowering rising blood sugar and haemoglobin A1C levels, a test of lengthy blood sugar control.
